Snook $SNK is launching its IDO on TrustPad!
A Polygon based game featuring unique Skill-based Value Metrics to define NFT value.
It’s a pleasure to introduce Snook to our community and give TrustPad holders the opportunity to participate in the IDO. Snook is a skill-based, NFT-powered IO-Game! It’s the first multiplayer, snake-like skill game that allows players to mint their game character as an NFT whilst rewarding talent, speed and persistence.
What’s Snook?
Snook is much more than a play-to-earn NFT game. It employs a unique Skill-based Value Metric (SVM) for setting NFT value based on measurable, objective attributes. Since NFT value is proportional to rarity, and rarity in Snook is skill, meaning that the abilities of the player define their NFT value.
How does Snook work?
The player’s snook-character in the game is a minted NFT. As the player advances in the game (by eating everything it can, avoiding and killing other snooks and taking their traits), she accrues achievements (e.g. traits and rare special skins). Blockchain and Crypto technologies make it possible to immutably record these achievements (think of it as a Blockchain/Crypto “barrel”). The game character/NFT can be accessed for future games or for commercial purposes, and under certain conditions provides financial incentives to the player. Simple.
The Snook Vision
Snook’s merger between a new, decentralised, trust-agnostic, and immutable economic paradigm and one of the most popular pastimes in Human history (i.e. gaming) is surprisingly natural and seamless. Much thought has gone in to the economics of Snook’s ecosystem to also ensure it is sustainable, with 98% of internal revenues channeled back to users and the vision to become a full DAO. It is also very meritocratic, Players spend time playing and the NFTs tie rarity and value with effort, talent and skill.
TrustPad x Snook
TrustPad will be launching Snook in early September, raising $200k for the public round. Snook’s utility token $SNK will be native to Polygon. The raise will be held in BUSD on Binance Smart Chain with $SNK being distributed on Polygon to the same wallet addresses — our first Polygon launch!
